- 1. Recognize those individuals and jurisdictions that have made outstanding contributions through excellence and innovation to the profession of local government management.
- 2. Through the use of our local media, publicize outstanding contributions to increase citizen understanding and appreciation for the efforts of local government managers.
- 3. Identify qualified candidates that could be nominated for the ICMA Awards Program.

The WCMA Board is pleased to announce the Sixteenth Annual Awards Program to recognize significant achievements by members of WCMA.
This Awards Program has been established to accomplish three primary goals:
The Municipal Research & Services Center board of directors will review the nominations and select award recipients. WCMA Achievement Awards will be presented at the summer conference in August.
This is an opportunity to acknowledge professional accomplishments. We all know of achievements or activities by our peers that deserve recognition. Self nominations are also acceptable. Please return these nominations by July 27 to WCMA Awards, 2601 4th Ave, Ste 800, Seattle, WA 98121.
