MRSC keeps an "Interims List" which contains the names, addresses, phone numbers, and brief work history statements of a number of experienced administrators/managers who are willing to be contacted for interim service as an interim city administrator, interim city manager, or interim department head in a situation where such services are needed. This need might develop because of the departure of a person who had occupied such a position, and the mayor and council's desire to have the slot filled temporarily while they do a full recruitment. A person's name appearing on the list does not constitute an endorsement by MRSC. Arrangements for interim service are made directly between the individual and the city. The list is available upon request by calling the MRSC Library at (206) 625-1300.
